There's much excitement in Chipping Cheddar when
Queen Seraphina makes
a special request. She wants the mouselings
from "Miss Lilly's School for Girls"
to put on a ballet at the palace. Soon Alice
is busy making the costumes
and Sammy is working on the very special effects,
whilst Angelina is positively
glowing as she steps up to direct their version
of "Sleeping Beauty". But
there's a twist in this royal tale, because
the Queen wants Angelina to give
her own daughters - Valentine and Sophie -
parts in the production. Angelina's
given the Princesses starring roles, but the
mouselings simply aren't good
enough to lead the show, and they're demanding
young things to boot. Now
Angelina's in a real pickle, as she tries
to prevent the performance from
descending into chaos. And goodness knows
what Miss Lilly make of it all...
A second feature-length outing for Angelina
here, courtesy of Grand Slamm
and HIT Entertainment. And like
before, it's a very pleasant production.
With the series still going strong, more books
in the pipeline, and two
movie specials under her tights, it's evident
that this feisty young mouse
has lost none of her appeal...
