Nope. You're not dreaming. That's Piella Bakewell, above, and the
would-be killer of our favourite tank-top wearing inventor Wallace
is apparantly back from the grave, alive and well, and making a
cameo apperarance in a brand-new ad campaign produced
   by Aardman for Google+.

Wallace & Gromit & Ginger in Aaardman's Google+ ad campaign

The advertisement is actually centered around Wallace and Gromit,
who are celebrating Christmas by connecting to a number of their
animated pals via Google and the Internet. Ginger from Chicken Run
pops up, and Trixie and Captain Cuddlepuss and those two cute
robins from the Creature Comforts series. And it's great to see them
all again, unwrapping their Christmas presents. But it's Piella who
   steals the limelight for us....

Why, the last we saw of that gal, she was being horribly devoured in
in crocodile pen. And she deserved it too. She'd just kneaded the
life out of twelve innocent bakers. But here she is again, shoving
Fluffles out of frame and joshing with Wallace in all her fullsome
pink-dressed glory without a scratch upon her, nor a care in
the world. And Wallace doesn't seem to be phased at all. Were the
terrible events in A Matter of Loaf and Death just a dream?

Well, who cares. It's Christmas. Let bygones be bygones. It's just
great to have some of Aardman's favourite creations back on our
screens, regardless of canon or continuity!

The ad campaign is now online, and on TV, so that old Toon Terror
can haunt us all repeatedly over the festive period. Yeek....
