Toonhound - Victor and Maria (1983)

    Victor is a big white bear who wears a hat and tie and Maria is the little girl
   who plays with him. Um. And that's about it. Together, these two share lots of
    fun and games, like friends do. On occasion, they are joined by Victor's cousin
   Otto - he's a brown bear - and Matilda, who is Maria's human friend.

    "Victor and Maria" was adapted by David McKee and King Rollo Films, from the
   stories and artwork purported to be by Roc Amirall and Carme Solè Vendrell.
    Why "purported"? Well, it just so happens that "Roc Amirall" is the playful
    pen name of David McKee!

    The series shares that same sense of bright and innocent fun as Crystal Tipps
    and Alistair. Una Stubbs tells the stories. She was still riding the wave of
    "Worzel Gummidge"success at the time..
